“Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, CLOTHE YOURSELVES with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience.”

What is COL312?

I am a creative person and I love using my gifts to serve God’s people. COL312 began in 2016 with the aim to visually represent passages from the Bible in ways that spark curiosity in those who see it. Every COL312 design is based on a passage in the Bible, and each shirt has the reference to the Bible passage on the back. My hope is that by wearing these clothes, you can start a conversation about life, death and eternity with someone around you.

How do I create the designs?

I use different methods, depending on the look I want to achieve.

For example, for some of the simple, clean designs I will use a vector editing program like Adobe Illustrator or Affinity Designer:

For other designs, I use Adobe Photoshop or Affinity Photo to add further details, and some are designed entirely in these programs:

And others, I will approach them in a completely different way. For my 1 Corinthians 15 ‘chalkboard’ design, I manually drew and shaded the image on paper, then scanned the image:

For another design of Jesus feeding the 5,000, I used 3D modelling software and manually placed thousands of people into shapes. Well worth a look at that one!
